Storage Collection & Delivery
Collections are between 7.00am and 12noon, Monday to Friday, clients are required to box and pack their own goods, belongings, property and valuables. We’ll provide blankets for extra protection of furniture during transit. Please ensure on the day of collection/delivery adequate legal parking for a truck 28ft long x 8ft wide x 12ft high. Should a parking ticket be issued, this will be charged to your account, in accordance with our Terms & Conditions.
Free collection offer applies to all customers storing with us for 6 months or more. Customers storing for less than 6 months will be subject to our very competitive standard transport rates. In all cases deliveries are charged at the standard rates, however customers are under no obligation to use this part of our service and may source their own provider if they so wish.

Delivery
When you have decided you would like to take your belongings out of storage, you must notify one of our advisors who will assist you in the process and advise you of delivery costs. Please note we require a minimum of 7 days notice for end of storage notification and transport on your specified dates is subject to availability. Notification can be simply done by completing and submitting the End of Storage Form or please call a storage advisor for assistance 08000 641 642
Postponement/Cancellation
1. If you postpone or cancel your collection/delivery, charges may apply if you give insufficient notice to us. Notice must be given to our office during working hours, Mon - Fri 08.30-5.00 hrs, excluding public holidays.
2. If you postpone or cancel your collection/delivery giving less than one clear working days notice to our office, 50% of the transport charge is payable.
3. Customers qualifying for Free Collection, who postpone/cancel giving less than one clear working days notice, will be charged 50% of the standard transport charges normally applied to collections/deliveries.
Membership No. S107Storing.com Ltd has signed up to the BAR Code of Practice which covers private domestic removals and storage within the UK.
The Code has been drawn up by the British Association of Removers in association with the Office of Fair Trading (OFT), and Storing.com Ltd has successfully achieved Stage One of the two-stage process for full OFT approval, under its Consumer Codes Approval Scheme.
The Code sets out the standards that all BAR members must comply with in respect of customer service, fair trading, advertising and complaint handling, and full compliance with the Code is mandatory upon all members of the Association. Its purpose is to maintain and, where necessary, raise standards of practice to ensure that our customers receive the most efficient and trouble-free move possible.
We will be pleased to provide a copy of the full Code upon request, and it can also be found at www.bar.co.uk. We particularly draw your attention to Clause 6.6 relating to pre-payments and deposits.
